The Ninebot ES1 kick scooter is the first of 2 kick scooters from the maker of the Segway. With a one-push folding system, the Ninebot Segway ES1 can easily be folded and stored in your car or taken on public transport, taking up a minimum amount of space. During your ride, the eco-friendly energy recovery system makes sure no power goes to waste by recharging the battery, while the Smart Battery Management System closely monitors battery performance.

The front-wheel shock absorption and 8" diameter tyres provide rider comfort, and the anti-lock electrical brakes ensure a safe stopping distance.

Our Ninebot-Segway electric scooters come with a 2-year UK manufacturer warranty, (unlike many imports that have to be returned to Europe or China for warranty issues).

With a top speed of 12mph, you'll cover 2 miles in just 8 minutes – 20 minutes faster than walking. Hard tyres mean the ES1 is puncture-proof. The scooter has 3 ride modes Eco, Standard, and Sport allowing you to really dial in speed and range. 

Our expert opinion

The ES1 is the entry-level scooter from Segway. It provides a great alternative to the M365. Hard tyres give you the reassurance that you will never get a ride ending puncture. There is a small display at the top of the stem between the handlebars that indicates current speed, battery level, and ride mode. Like all Segway models, the optional add on battery will fit this scooter increasing range and speed.

What the Warranty Covers, and for how long?

The full scooter is covered including the electronics and battery, for 2 years from purchase

Who Is the Warranty Provider?

The warranty is backed by the manufacturer, Segway.


The warranty is void If:

  • The scooter has been ridden in the rain or has any water ingress
  • The scooter has not been maintained such as unchanged punctures and missing parts
  • The scooter has been missued for example has been ridden by a rider over the recommended weight
  • The scooter has been serviced or modified by anyone other than an authorised partner

How Can You Claim On Your Warranty?

Order Confirmation:

As soon as you place your order, we will pre-authorise your card however your card will not be charged. We will then contact our supplier/manufacture to confirm that the product you have purchased is available for immediate shipment. Once confirmed we will process the payment and your order will be dispatched straight away. If there is any delay such as an item which is on backorder, we will void the pre-authorisation and contact you to let you know.

Order Delivery:

Once your order has been placed, assuming it is in stock and available for dispatch, we will charge your card and your order will be dispatched within 5 working days. We’ll send you a shipping confirmation with tracking details by email within 24 hours of your order being dispatched and you will receive your order within 48 hours of it being dispatched. If you have not received tracking details within 6 working days, please reach out to us via email at and we will assist.

Cancellations & Refunds:

If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us immediately via email Please include your order number when contacting us. When returning a product it must be returned in ‘new’ condition, with all components included, in their original packaging. There will be a charge for the return. 

If your order has not yet left our warehouse, we should be able to stop it shipping and issue you a refund immediately. 

Any orders cancelled after 48 hours of placing the order may be subject to additional fees. If your order has been dispatched, you (the buyer) will be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item. Any refunds can only be issued to the same payment method which was used to place the order.
